Simple summary

This policy is written for normal humans. If anything here ever feels unclear, please reach out.

What we collect

When you type names into the tool, that content is used only to run the wheel/coin/3D selection on your device. We do not upload or store it on our servers.

If you create an account, we collect your email address to identify you and associate your saved wheels with your account. If you subscribe to a paid plan, billing is handled by Stripe — we do not store your payment card details.

We may send you service emails (account confirmation, password reset) and, with your consent, occasional product updates or announcements. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

Accounts and subscriptions

When you create an account, your email address is stored securely via Supabase, our authentication provider. We store a record of your subscription status (free or paid) in our database, associated with your user ID. We do not store your password in plaintext — it is hashed by our authentication provider. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. Upon deletion, your account data and subscription record are permanently removed.

Payments (Stripe)

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page. We do not handle or store your payment card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing: stripe.com/privacy. Your Stripe customer record is linked to your Spin or Flip account so we can verify subscription status.

How the tool works (local processing)

All core interactions—adding names, editing colors, shuffling, spinning the wheel, and the 3D shape view—run locally in your browser.

We do not upload your list to a server, and we do not store your list on our servers.

Sharing and selling of data

We do not sell your data. We do not share your names list or spin results with anyone, and we do not store them on our servers.

Cookies and analytics

We may use analytics to understand overall site usage (for example: which pages are visited, roughly how many visits happen, and whether the site is working properly).

If enabled, we use Google Analytics configured in an anonymized form intended to measure aggregated traffic rather than identify individual users.

Analytics providers may use cookies or similar technologies to provide their service. You can control cookies in your browser settings and, in many regions, through consent prompts provided on the site.

We do not use analytics to read the names you enter into the tool.

Advertising and third-party ad networks

Spin or Flip may display advertisements, including ads served by third-party ad networks such as Google AdSense.

Third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your browser, or using web beacons or IP addresses to collect information as a result of ad serving on this website. For more on how Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps, see How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps.

These third parties may use cookies or similar technologies to:

We do not provide your names list to advertisers. Ads are served based on the ad network’s systems and your device/browser settings.

Your privacy choices (GDPR & CCPA)

We aim to keep Spin or Flip privacy-first and lightweight. Because we do not collect personal data from the core tool, there’s typically nothing for us to access, delete, or sell.

If analytics or advertising cookies are used, you can:

If you believe something isn’t working as described here, please contact us and we’ll investigate.

Children’s privacy

Spin or Flip is a general-audience tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to a third party through ads or analytics, please contact us so we can help guide you to the relevant opt-out and support resources.

Data security

We design the tool so your names list stays on your device while you use it. While no website can guarantee perfect security, we aim to follow good practices to keep the site reliable and safe.

If you find a security issue, please let us know at gomezcollectivedesign@gmail.com.
